Charming mother turtle with five individually carved little turtles  by Aurora Sosa, a talented young carver from San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca.    

 Aurora masterfully decorated them with her trademark  Oaxacan style flowers. The painting on its flippers  gives the impression of the turtle swimming.

A wonderful  piece!
