Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez is very well known among collectors of fine Oaxaca wood carvings. He began carving in the 1970's and likes to create large scale figures such as this stunning deer. Its antlers & ears are removable .

Jose is married to the late Manuel Jimenez's daughter and has been featured in many publications such as the Smithsonian Magazine.
