Epifanio Fuentes

Epifanio is one of the most successful artists in San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca. His work has been included in many museum exhibits and featured in most publications about the wonderful work of Oaxaca's woodcarving artists.

Epifanio is not only the creator of beautiful woodcarvings, but he endows them with a personality and character of their own.

This couple of monkey jazz players are absolutely delightful. They look like Mexican Pachucos  from the 50's. They could be the characters of a children's picture book!
